You can also make you own vegan mayo and relish. There really is no right or wrong.

Variations and Substitutions
We tried several variations of this sauce before we finally decided which we felt was the best. A few that we tried are listed here:
- Use chopped dill pickles instead of relish.
- Substitute regular paprika for smoked paprika for added flavor.
- Fresh onion and garlic work nicely if you prefer. We prefer the smooth consistency that the powder gives in this recipe but it depends on your taste.
Refridgerate: This sauce keeps well in an air tight container for up to 5 days.
Re-heat: I do like this sauce warm on my burger but that is just my preference. I just heat in the microwave for 30-45 seconds.
Obviously, this sauce is fantastic on burgers but you can serve it on a salad or as a dip as well.
- Serve as a dip with Fried Potatoes, it's so good!
- Add to these Baked Potatoes.
- Drizzle on top of this Buddha Bowl with Tofu.
Yes, it is gluten-free, vegan and vegetarian.
No, we don't recommend that you store this sauce in freezer.
If you are looking for other vegan sauces, dips, and marinades, here are a few of our favorites. They are all gluten-free as well!
